Terms of Service

This Terms of Service is a referral agreement between Zennify Cleaning LLC and the client. Zennify Cleaning LLC operates as a domestic referral agency in compliance with applicable federal and Ohio employment laws. We assist clients seeking house cleaners, carpet cleaners, and other independent service providers by recruiting and referring qualified professionals.Client has requested Zennify’s help in identifying independent service providers to deliver housekeeping services at their residence.

1. Referral Service

Zennify Cleaning recruits and retains independent domestic workers. All providers undergo an interview, and we review their availability and work experience. Zennify does not supervise or control how the provider performs services.

2. Payment

Payment is due when service is scheduled. Clients may provide a credit card to keep on file. The referral fee is based on a fixed percentage of the service cost and is outlined in our fee schedule. No refunds are provided for cleaning services.

3. Cancellation

If a client cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice, a $99 cancellation fee will apply. In cases of valid emergency, Zennify may waive this fee at its discretion.

4. Lock Out or No-Show

If the service provider cannot access the home due to no one being available or no access provided, a $99 lockout fee will be charged. This may be waived in the event of a valid emergency as determined by Zennify.

5. Service Provider Performance

We recommend a walk-through at the end of the cleaning. If not satisfied, clients must contact the service provider directly while they are still on site.

6. Direct Hiring Prohibited

Clients may not hire a referred provider directly during service and for nine (9) months after termination of services without notifying Zennify. If services are provided without notice, the client agrees to pay a $5,000 finder’s fee.

7. Performance of Services

Service providers perform work independently and are solely responsible for their service quality. Zennify is not liable for complaints, damages, or loss. Clients must resolve issues directly with the provider. Zennify will notify providers of any complaints.

8. Independent Domestic Worker

Zennify is not the employer of any service provider. Clients acknowledge they may have employer responsibilities and are responsible for applicable taxes. Service providers control how and when their services are completed.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By using services from a referred provider, clients accept these terms, whether or not the agreement is signed.

10. Termination

Clients may replace or terminate a provider at any time.

11. Attorney’s Fees

Clients agree to pay reasonable legal fees incurred by Zennify in enforcing this agreement.

12. Governing Law/Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by Ohio law. All disputes must be resolved in Franklin County, Ohio.

13. Electronic Signatures

This agreement may be accepted by electronic or facsimile signature. Clients may review and accept the agreement online at any time.

14. Service Fee

A 3.05% service fee applies to each booking.

15. Refund Policy & Chargebacks

No refunds are issued for cleaning services. If a fraudulent chargeback is filed and the card issuer finds in favor of Zennify, the client agrees to pay liquidated damages of $750, plus the original service cost.

16. Background Check Requests

Clients may request background checks. Zennify will provide an attestation of completion, not the results. Clients are responsible for compliance with relevant laws regarding background checks.

17. Privacy Policy

We only share personal information as needed to provide services or as required by law. We may share information with independent service providers, payment processors, and service software partners. Digital photos may be taken for internal records or marketing, but we will never share private information without consent.

18. SMS Consent

By opting in, clients may receive text messages from Zennify’s toll-free numbers. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out, reply “STOP.” For help, contact [email protected].

WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

By signing, I acknowledge the risks of COVID-19 and agree to take precautions per CDC guidelines. I understand Zennify Cleaning LLC refers independent providers and is not liable for their actions.I agree to hold Zennify harmless from any claims related to COVID-19 exposure or service interactions. This waiver binds any representatives or assigns and is governed by Ohio law.I also knowingly waive my right to a jury trial in any dispute.Discounts are limited to first-time or deep cleans and may only be used once. B signing, I confirm I am at least 18, fully competent, and agree to the terms voluntarily.
